PURPLE is a historically significant colour, long associated with magic, royalty and spirituality.

Mauve, lilac, lavender, violet, plum, wine, amethyst, grape, aubergine, heather, orchid, thistle, heather... there are so many lovely shades, it's hard to choose a favorite.

Purple blends beautifully with soft white, sage and taupe, and looks striking with gold or silver accents.

I'm drawn to the sultry, sophisticated shades of dark lavendar, amethyst and aubergine... What are your thoughts on the colour PURPLE?
